Fuller. GARDEN CLUB The September Garden Club meet ing was held on Monday with Mrs. J. H. Moore as hostess and Miss Bet tie Joyner presiding. During the period devoted to busi ness, the president announced recent gifts of shrubbery for the swimming pool grounds, given by Mrs. J. W. ^ Lovelace, who left this month to make her home in High Point, and by Mrs. E. F. Gaynor and Mrs. J. I. Morgan, Sr., Paramount among business mat ters discussed was the annual Flower Show, which will be held under the auspices of this group on October 5, and committees were appointed in * this connection with Mrs. E. F. Gay- ' nor as chairman. Two topics were under discussion during the afternoon; Mrs. J. L Morgan, Sr., told how to prepare soil for the culture of sweetpeas and lark spur, and Mrs. Mary M.
