Mr Kuhlman and their daughter, Caroline, accompanied him and will visit here for'a week. 1__1S LOCAL AMERICAN LEGION POST RESUMES REGULAR MONTHLY MEETINGS Farmville Post American Legion No* 161 will resume its regular monthly meetings in the Legion Hall, Friday night, September 1, after having suspended its meetings for the summer months. Commander Carl A. Tyson advises that Assistant State Service Officer, of the Department of Labor, Veterans' Service Division, W. H. Dunn, who is located in Greenville, will be the principal speaker and explain some at the many advantages offered to veterans' of both World Wars, Nos. T and II, by the Department of Labor, Veterans' Service Division. Mr. Dunn has recently been placed in Greenville in the Municipal Building, by the Department of Labor and will serve Eastern Carolina in an advisory capacity. All veterans needing advice from his department may contact him directly or through your local Service officer. All ex-service men in this community are urged to attend the meeting of Farmville Post Friday night, September 1, and receive much valuable information first hand. Supper will be served. C, F.
