C-, Aug. 8?The Navy has designated Sept 15, as the deadline for submission of applica tions for transfer of Naval Reserve and temporary USN officers to the regular Navy. With certain exceptions applica tions will not be-accepted after that date. This deadline does not apply to officers who request transfer to the regular Navy as Law Specialists; officers who will have completed less than one year's commission in -the service on Sept 15; and officers who receive theiV first commission sub sequent to Sept 15. A deadlne of July 20 had already been established for officers apply ing for transfer as chief warrant officers or warrant officers.
