SEVERAL NAVY SHIPS WILL VISIT SOUTHERN PORTS The Navy Department has an nounced that ships will visit Charles ton, a C., Wilmington, and Savan nah, Gsl, during Navy Day Week, and that in most cases these ships will be open to visitors from October 25 to October 28. , Ships have been assigned to areas in which they normally would be operating. The destroyer USS Gyatt is sche duled to be at Wilmington; the a. stroyer minesweeper USS Shannon at Savannah; and at Charleston, the destroyer Ware; an ocean going tug, the ATF 163; a patrol craft, the PC 682; and four minecmft: the Hain bleton, Peregrine, Wheatear, and Crackle'. Memorial servioea for members of the armed forces who lost their lives at sea will be also held hi Charles ton pad Wilmington, an Sunday, October 26. The services which have been designated by the Navy League, sponsors of Navy Day as a memorial and tribute to thrte in all the ser vices who lost their lives at sea and I -?
