Club on Thursday night at her home.

ting scheme.
High score for club members was
compiled by Mrs. Emerson Smith and
high score for guests was tallied by
Mrs. Jack Darden. The consolation
prize for club low score went to Mrs.
Tommy Lang.
The hostess served a salad course.
EPISCOPAL ALTAR GUILD ■
The Episcopal Altar Guild met on
Tuesday night at the home of Mrs.
Charles Edwards, with Mrs. Edwards
hostess.
The Directress, Mrs. John D. Dixon
presided over the business during
which plans were made to hold a
bazaar on November 28. Mrs. Harry
Byers and Mrs. W. T. Candler were
appointed to serve as decoration
chairmen for the occasion.
After adjournment Mrs. Edwards
served ice cream and cookies.

the concert sponsored by the Civic
Music Club of Kinston on Tuesday
night of last week. Herman Codes,
concert pianist, was the featured art
