At the annual meeting of the Foun dation in Chapel Hill, Saturday, Dr. Jones, vice-president, presided in the absence of the president, H. O. Line berger of Raleigh* The Sessions were held in Gerrard Hall. * The fund rasing campaign, begun a month ago, with $100,000 as a goal, was reported as almost realized. Pledges and contributions had already amounted to $95,000. During the meeting Chancellor Robert B. House, who greeted the dentists, praised the work of Dr. Jones, who, as State Senator, “went to bat for the State and the region. We here are grateful that the Uni versity of North Carolina was your unanimous choice for the location of the state’s dental school” CHARLES A. MOZINGO WINNER OF PRIZES Charles A. Mozingo, representative of the Southern Appliance Company of Charlotte,-was recently winner of a number of prizes given by the Coolerator Company. The prizes were awarded for salesmanship. The prizes are as follows: Golf bag and full set of clubs, Parker 51 set, Northwestern secretary desk, chair and ottoman, occasional chair, steak set, Kaywoodie pipe, raincoat, fitted case and a dictionary. LOCAL FLORIST ATTENDS CHRISTMAS SHOW IN RALEIGH Mrs. Fred C. Moore,. local florist, accompanied by her husband, attend ed a Christmas show held at the Carolina Hotel in Raleigh on Wed nesday, under the auspices of the McCallum Wholesale Floral Supply company and the Florist Telegram Delivery Service.
