Burke, co-chairman, presiding. Mrs. Britt opened the meeting with prayer and Mrs. Holmes acted as secretary in the absence of Miss Mamie Davis. jH" During the business, plans were made to visit the Comity Home in August, and Mm. Clayton and Mm. Holmes were appointed to serve as a church flower committee for Suhday. Bryant of near Green ville had as week end guests Mr. and Mrs. Joe Tugwell of Newport News, Va., Mrs. Henry Vick and son of Nor folk, Va., and Mrs. Richard Baker and Son of Washington. • Miss Patricia Bryant of Portsmouth, Va., is visiting with Mrs. Bryant, her grandmother. Rachel and Carol Tug well of Portsmouth have returned to their home after a recent visit with her. .
