W- Gas ton, of Belmont, Wednesday, January 20th, 1907, a son Death at Kings Mountain. Mrs. Cynthia Jenkins died at the home of her daughter. Mrs. G. S. Ware, in Kings Mountain. yesterday after an illness lasting for more than . a year. Mrs. Jenkins was about 80 years old. bbe is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Ware, and - two sons, Messrs. Mrs. Mintie Combest, aged about 65, died Saturday nigut at tbe county home near Dallas, where she bad been an inmate for a year or more. The body was taken to Bethesda Metodist church for burial Sunday. Grier, the jeweler, died at his home on Lung street this afternoon about 2 o'clock of heart disease. Mr. Grier had not been well for several days but, up till Wednesday, was in his office in the Davis block as usual. He was sitting in a chair in the kitchen of bis home when death came.
