Va.. which resulted in the loss of probably four hun dred lives, is almost teyond con ception in its awful sadness, and the sympathy of the entire country has been stirred by the reports of the harrowing de tails of the rescue work, which is proeressine at the fastest possible rate, but which is no doubt pitiably slow to those who are anxiously waiting, hoping against hope that loved ones in the mine by some chance may possibly be saved. Death is horrid in any form, but to be caught in such a death-trap as it was tue lot ot these poor miners to be caught in is one of the most horrible of its many forms that can be conceived of, posed Persons whose diet is com- of most wholesome foods are comparatively free from dis ease and are active mentally and physically. The mayor questioned him closely as to where be obtained his liquor Reid stated that be had gotten two gallons of whiskey by ex press and the express books were sent for. Mr. George Nolen was summoned and an in vestigation showed that on Nov ember 7th be had gotten a pack age. Reid is an old offender and had been warned that, if he came before the court again he would have to go to the roads Mayor Armstrong sentenced him to ten days on the chain gang and to pay the costs or to pay a 6ne of $50. He was sent to Dallas yesterday. The mayor gave this offender some straight talk on the subject of drunken ness and lying. The question having been raised as to whether or no J. H. Kennedy will refund the money if a Hyomei outfit does not do all that is claimed for it in cur ing catarrh, tbeywant to state positively that this guarantee is an absolute fact. A guarantee like this is the best proof that can be offered as to the curative powers of Hyomei in all catarrhal troubles. Vou do not risk a cent in test ing its healing virtues, J. H. Kennedy & Co. take all the risk. If you have catarrh, try this wonderful medicated air of Hy omei. It does not drug or de range the stomach, but is breathed through a neat pocket inhaler that comes witb every outfit, so that its medication reaches the most remote air cells in the nose, throat and lungs, where any carrbal germs may be lurking. It quickly de stroys tbem, heals and soothes the irritated mucous membrane and vitalizes the tissues so that catarrh is no longer possible. You can lose nothing by giving Hyomei a trial, nothing but the catairh and that is a good riddance. The price of the complete outfit is but $1.00 nothing if it fails to cure. Get an outfit from J. H.
