I was somewhat surprised to see a letter in a recent Issue of Tbe Ga il ette from my ;. boy. Nobody ; who knows him takes anything he says very seriously. I 'think he was In spired to write that letter from contribution that appeared In The Gazeztte previously signed "E. S R. I do not know who E. S. R. is neither do I carento know a man that can't afford anything but a tin pan of I for his wife's hat when cotton is worth fifteen cents, corn one dollar, peas two dollars, eggs twenty-five cents and everything else In propor tion. What in the name of gracious did alio have on her head when cot ton was five cents and eggs eight cents? I can't control that boy of mine If he would go down to his grocery I In his auto, bought on a credit, he would get along better. Talk about buying cotton mill stock that chap of mine has no dough and there is I none for sale on a credit that I I know of.
