Theodore Short, aged 10, son of Mr. and llrs. R. G. Short, died at their home at the Loray Mill Sun day morning at 5 o'clock as the re sult of injuries he sustained on the Tuesday previous in a fall from a pole on which he was doing the act commonly called "skinning the cat." While in the attitude of turning the unfortunate boy fell on his back. He was apparently not seriously injured and did not complain much until Friday. He grew rapidly worse un til death resulted at the time stated above. The body was taken Monday morning to Henrietta, the former home of the family, for burial. The company was organized here, and here it should remain. Who will speak to the contrary. The Socialists polled about 50 votes in Gaston county. These were cast at Cherryville, Gastonla and NOTICE.
