F, Starnes and formerly lived in Gas tonia: . "Mr. John B. Stanres died yester day morning at 8:30 o'clock at the Presbyterian Hospital, where he had been confined for the past tnree weeks. He was 75 'years or age ana served through the Civil War In tbe Confederate Army. He is survived by one son, Mr. J. E. Starnes, or Nashville, Tenn., and a number of other relatives in various sections of the State.
