One of the most elaborate ana en Joyable social affairs of the season was the reception given Friday after noon from 1 to 5 o clock by Mrs. u F. Mason and Miss Kathenne Mason at their beautiful home on South Oakland street in honor of Mrs, George B. Mason. The guests were greeted at the door by 'Mrs. J. Lean Adams and Mrs. C. K. Marshall and were ushered' Into the parlor by Mrs. Joe S. Wray. In the parlor tne oeco- rations consisted of white ana pine chrysanthemums. In the receiving line were Mrs. O. F. Mason, Mrs. George B. Mason, Mrs. R. P. Rankin, Mrs. R. Kenneth Babington, Mrs. 8 N. Boyce, Miss Katherlne Mason, and Miss Lucy Boyce. From the parlor the guests were shown into the library by Mts. P. R Falls and Mrs. J. W. TimberlaHe Here the receiving line was made up of members of the Original Thirteen Club Including Miss Marie Torrence, Miss Nell McLean, Miss Ann McLean, Miss Blanche Gray, Miss Myrtle Gray, Miss Jennie Pegram, Miss Hallie Torrence, Miss Lois Torrence, Miss Clara Armstrong and Miss Johnsle Adams. The decorations in the library were yellow chrysanthe mums. From the library the guests were shown Into the dining room by Mrs. S. J. Durham and Mrs. L. F. Wfctzell. In the dining room the decorations were white chrysantne mums, while the table was lighted by crystal candelabra with green candles and green shades.
