Coffey Wagon Works, has recently built an addi tional to Its plant on North Marietta street. It is about 5 (r x 45 feet and famishes ample room for the com pany's new department, that of re pairing and rebuilding automobiles. A visit to this plant, which has grown rapidly in the past year or so, reveals the fact that there is an im-; mense amount of rebuilding and re pairing of autos to be done. There were no less than a dozen being worked on when a reporter stopped in Wednesday for a few minutes. Twelve men, most of them experts, are employed and the manager, Mr. J. H. Coffey, stated that in order to keep up with the demand for this kind of work the force would have to be enlarged soon. Work is done here for patrons in quite a number of towns besides Gastonia. Mr. C. . W. Fuller, formerly of Bessemer City, is now a member of the firm. It is probable that another addition may be built to this plant in the near fo tare. Spring. Spring is looked upon by many as the most-delightful season of the year, but this cannot be said of the rheumatic. The cold arfd damp weather brings on rheumatic pains which are anything but pleasant. They can be relieved, however, by applying Chamberlain's Liniment. Obtainable everywhere. Adv. Safe Medicine for Children. "Is it safe?" is the first question to be considered when buying cough medicine for children. Chamber lain's Cough Remedy has long been a ravorite with mothers of young children as it contains no opium or other narcotic, and may be given to a child as confidently as to an adult It is pleasant to take, too, which is of great importance when a medi cine must be given to young chil dren. This remedy is most effectual in relieving coughs, colds and croup. Obtainable everywhere.
