Harrison return ed Friday from Durham, where he attended the convention of Metho dist ministers. /.-v Daily Vacation Bible school held its commencement Sunday morn ing. Mrs. Ralph Warren, director, stated that the school had been a success and thanked all leaders, helpers and parents, and members of the refreshment committee for the work they did in making it successful. ..JhfM The Primary group, led by Misg Margerite Britt, Miss LufeiQe Chambers and Mrs. Bruce H ring, gave a resume of work done during the school. The juniors, led by Mrs. Will Komegay, Mrs. iloyd Hontz, Mrs. Clayton Sum merlin, and Mrs. Cecil Winstead, gave a short program. , Miss Hope Harrison spoke about the work of the Intermediate group, led by Mrs.' L. G. Geddie and Mrs. Weatherly of the Pres byterian church. The Presbyterian Intermediate group joined with the Methodists for the two-week school. Mrs. Fitzhugh Smith was in charge of the nursery Sunday. A film on “Spanish Speaking Americans” highlighted the study course Wednesday night. Mrs. J. W. Cox gave the intro duction to the book and this was followed with the showing of the film by Mrs. John Johnson and Mrs. Wilkins. Mesdames R. L. Cox, Lloyd Hontz, P. K.
