But with the cooperation of the Herring’s Store Lions club, they have seen this dream come true. Last Wednesday, the home dem onstration club for the first time met in the new Community build ing. Plans for a Community building began to formulate soon after the two clubs were organized. Mem bers worked together in various ways to raise money for the proj ect. In the fall of 1953, work on the building was started and through untiring efforts is near ing completion. And already the club has made plans to meet again in the build ing. During last Wednesday’s meet ing it was decided to hold the Oc tober 6 meeting in the Community building with Mrs. Edwin Holt as hostess. For their first meeting in the building, the club held no special ceremony. Miss Hager, assistant home agent, gave a demonstration bn furnishing homes for children, and during demonstrations she dated that many accidents occur in \ homes because of inconvenient equipment for children to use. After the demonstration, project leaders reported, and then Mrs. Jasper Herring and Mrs. Nora Out law, \ hostesses, served refresh ments. -\-; Giv£ 0OO a Chance XOW/ ggpjjgggvz?
