L. McNeill, the defendant, has in the following described real estate, to-wit: In Lie- tie Biver township, Hoke county. First Tract: Beginning at a large sweet gnm stump on the south bank of Lower Little River, referred to in the old land da^s as the lai'ge sweet gum tree, with juniper pointers and a pine pointer, and runs thence S, 4 W. 12 chains to the third comer of the fond tract .^hereinafter described; thence as its second line reversed and past i^ comer '53.60 chains to James Creek; thence as the meander- ings of said creek to the line of the Mill 50 acres; thence as it N/ 14.86 chains to its comer near the north ilend of the Mill Dam; thence as its other line W. 2|.36 chains to its other corner; thence continuing West 8.63 chains to a slake ^ the edge of a pond; thence North to and with a fine of a 100 acre tract, 41 chains cross ing the river to a stake in the line of 100 acres known a« the John McNeill 100 acres, a part of which is included herein; the'nce as its line East 11 chains to the line of 200 acres sur vey ; thence S. 4 W. 8 eiiains to the channel of the nver; thence down its various courses to the beginning, con taining 28i acres.
