At a congregational meeting held last Sunday, Raeford Pres byterian church voted to raise the .salary of its pastor. Dr. W M. Fairley, $600 a year. The pastor’s salary is now $3,600 a year. On the evening of April ,3, the people of Raeford w/ill be given an opportunity of seeing copies of the world’s most famous pictures. Don’t forget the date, Friday, April 3, High School Auditorium.. Mr. T. F. Culbreth and every member of his family went down to Rose boro Sunday to celebrate t the 87th birthday of his father, Mr. McK. Culbreth at the home of his daughter,. Mrs. Will Sea well. Mr. Culbreth went througlT the iGivil, and notwithstanding his advanced age, he is in good health and gets * around like a young man We learned yesterday that Mlks Alberta Fuller, who has been critipally ill in a hospital in Richmond, Va., for more than a week, was thought! to he a little better; however, her condition is t indeed very serious.
