This ia a rigritt as well as a privilegre. and more, it is a duty. But we hear some people of the Ananias disposition say. or have been Baying, that the editor has been persuading people to stay away from the polls, and not vote A man who says that kind o'* staff just loves to lie, and is ma- kioK such statements as the itove from a love of lying. A man of that kind would have to be sent to a reform school a long time to develop into an Ananias. diabolism is anything but refreshing - Hoke countv has not express ed her full strength, not once, be cause the people have not voted io elections as they should have. We have two thousand voters. Democrats, in Hoke, and not over twelve hundred have voted In any election. People should be allowed to fO*e as they please, unmolested, and that without criti ism. hut most of us. criticise those who vote contrary to our wishes and tbat*8 mean, but we do it. We would like to see the voters of Hoke moreselfassertive. VO HOUKERS OP Third liberty Loan Bonds All Straw ahifFanlVs duceU in Price Id' close out, - ^ ' .
