The annual journey of Santa Claus into our midst is less than two weeks away and countless millions of little tots who have an implicit faith in .this old fellow’s arrival are awaiting with keeh anticipa tion his safe coming this year. These little folk know little of economic conditions that make old Santa hard-up^ this year—^they have a simple faith that makes them believe that he will come. Such is the hap py ignorance of millions of tiny chaps who will turn away from empty stockings Christ mas morning and shed bitter tears of disappointment, not only in missing the material things that they' wanted, but at the loss of faith in the good ness of one whom they had been taught to adore. * ' ‘Millions of children will arise Christmas; morning and be greeted with all that their tiny hearts had hoped for— many to receive a lavish waste of things that they could bet ter get along without. Everyone with a heart should remember the poor this Christ mas. We should all strive to see that every child that we know of should have some thing and that every poor home should at least have the ne cessities of life on this day, if not every day. We believe that everyone w’ho makes a sactriifice to this end will find this one of the happiest Christmases ever spent and well they should. Neill A.
