It is with considerable pleasure
and satisfaction that we announce
the fact Utat Cecil Dew, a Hoke
Comity product, is now with us in

He was educated at Raeford and

he worked for a number of years in
a Charlotte bank until his health
gave him trouble and he. was forced

On Wednesday afternoon at the
home of Mrs. Jul'an Johnson. Mrs.

most elaborate parties ever given

The first floor of the house was
thrown ensuite and tables arranged
throughout as w-ell as on the porch.
-Gorgeous summer flowers were ef
fectively and tas efnlly used. There
were eleven tables p’aying bridge

hostesses from Rasfor.l and nearby
