I LOCAL GIRLS GRADUATE AT REX HOSPITAL PARTIES GIVEN AT SENTER HOME On Thursday of last week Mrs. Neill Senter was hostess when she entertained at two parties. Arrangements of poses, snapdra gons and sweetpeas were decora tions in the entertaining rooms. In the afternoon Mrs. Senter entertained at three tables of brid ge. At this time Mrs. N. A. Mc Donald,. Jr. was winner of the high score prize and also captured the floating prize. Delicious refresh ments were served during the af ternoon. I In the evening three tables of rook were in play. This party was given in honor of Mrs. Hallie Gat lin’s housegudst, Mrs. N. C. Mc- Fadyen of Fayetteville. Mrs. L. B. Brandon won the floating prize and Mrs. Lonnie Brock won high score. Mrs. Senter remem bered Mrs. McFadyen with a gift and Mrs. Herbert McLean, who was celebrating her birthday, was also remembered with a gift. During the game an iced drink was served and at the close of the game ice cream, cake and nuts were served. 0— ' Mps. McDonald ’ CLUB HOSTESS MRS. Gibson was a- warded high score prize and Mrs. Sam Morris the consolation prize. Refreshments wero served dur ing the evening. 0 CELEBRATES BIRTHDAY Miss Louise Lundy celebrated her li9th birthday Tuesday even ing at her home at 7:30. The house was decorated with pink roses. She received many lovely gifts from the 12 guests present. Refreshments of ice cream', cake and pink lemonade were served.
