ernacle Church, they have a new
class of youngw.en and it is hop
ed that all will attend regularly
and make it a success.
Last Sunday was a noisy day
in Rockfish as the road work was
going on. These roads will soon
be completed. The Rockfish-Rae-
ford road, the road from Rockfish
to the highway I'S-A near Lake-
rim, are being hard surfaced.
Mrs. R. C. Spears and son vis
ited her sister Mrs. T. C. Jones
over the past week end.
Mrs. M. R. Knight and Mrs.
W. G. Wright spent last Tuesday
in' Fayetteville, visiting and shop
ping.
Galatia church has been under
going so.r.e repars lately. It is
about completed now and looks
much better. Services were held
in the church last Sundjay
for the first time in several wei^s.

is visiting relatives in this com

hour visit with another aunt, Mrs.

year you are eligible to VOTE in a referendum to be
held from June 5th to June 7th, inclusive, to determine
whether the Fayetteville Tobacco Market shall be de
signated for free and mandatory inspection of tobacco.
The service consists of tobacco inspection and market
news. If the referendupi is carried, the cost of this ser
vice will be paid by the U. S. Department of Agriculture.
