Social Security Representatiye Here Month. Pinal arrangements wer^ com pleted this week by Vernos ^Herbert, Manager of the Fayette ville Field Office of the Social Security Administration with Mr. J. M. McGoogan, County Auditor, for a representative of the Social Security to be in Raeford at least once a month. * It is planned that the represen tative will be - in Raeford the fourth Wednesday of the month from 10:30 a. m. to 1:30 p. m. beginning Wednesday, January 26, 1949/ Mr. Herberf stated that for the present he will personally assume this assignment at Raeford. Mr. Herbert stated that he hopes that the people of Hoke County will avail themselves of the op portunity to call and discuss the program and that he believes tte arrangement will be beneficial lo .both the office of the Social Se curity Administration and to the people of Hoke County.
