RECENT BRIDE HONORED A shower was given at the Ashley Heights community house Friday night in honor of Mrs. E. J. Hare, recent bride. The house had been beautifully decorated for the occasion with spring flow ers and suggestions of Valentine. The bride was given a pretty cor sage on arrival. Games were play ed with prizes going to Mrs. Tal- madge Bobbitt, Mrs. Alice Al mond, and Mrs. Robert Strother. Mrs. Haire was blindfolded and told to pin the tail on the don key. The bird house contest sponsored by the club for the Ashemont school will close March 9 and entries will be judged on that day. The contest this year will be in two sections - one group comprising the upper four grades will com pete and 'the lower three grades will compete. Prizes will be a- warded for each of the best three of each group. Mrs. Willis served coffee, can died fruit, nuts and cheese .and crackers, beaten biscuits and ham. Mr. and Mrs. H. L.
