Gibson, recent bride As guests arrived gifts were plac ed on a table. Later when she entered the rooin, one look was enough to assure Mrs. Gibson that a wonderfud treat was in store for her. Mrs. Irene Zaska direct ed 'the games and contest ending with several rounds of bingo. Prizes received by the winners were presented to Mrs. Gibson, who upon opening and display ing these and all her gifts was so enthusiastic in her praise of them, there could be no doubt of her sincere appreciation of all the beautiful and . useful . tilings she received. Turnip greens, put on to cook in about their own weight of cold water and cooked 30 min. from time boiling began, held only about a third of their ori ginal vitamin C, but those put into'boiling water and boiled the same -length of time held three- fourths of their C. Likewise as paragus and green beans, cooked by these two methods, retained more C when started in boiling water.
