Mrs. Rufus Fish returned with them to visit her daughter, Mrs. L. R. ill Cothran. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Shepherd and children of Albemarle spent the week end here with relatives. Mrs. W. L. McFadyen and son spent the week end in Burliiigton with Mr. and Mrs. Bob Gammon Mrs. O. F. Merriell and daugh ter, Betty Lou, of Beaufort were week end guests of Mr. and Mrs. F. L: Eubanks. Jr. graduate from State College Sunday, 0- Mrs. W. O’Neal has returned to her home in Concord after a visit of several weeks here in the home of Mr. and Mrs. R. Holden. Little Autry Mitchell spent the past week in Chapel Hill visiting Robert Green. Mr. and Mrs. Mit chell went up Sunday for him. The attention of everyone is called to the revival meeting at Parkers Methodist Church June 18 through June 25th. The visit ing preacher will be the Rev. M. Y. Self of Littleton. The meeting begins with the 12 o’clock wor ship service on Sunday morning, June 18, with services at 8 o’ clock each night the following week, (with the exception of Sat urday night) ending on Sunday W. Lawrence Parrish, a former res ident of this community, and Thomas McFadyen were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Wood of State College, Raleigh, last Saturday.
