A na tive of Cumberland County and for many years a resident of Jack sonville, Fla., he had been visit ing his sister, Mrs. Frank Bethea, in Rockfish, for some time. Funeral services were held at the Lentz Funeral Home here Monday afternoon, conducted by the Rev. B. O. Shannon. Inter ment followed Tuesday at Ever- gre^ cemetery in Jackson\dlle. He is survived by one sister and a brother. 0 ^ The major part of the nation’s food supply in fiscal 1951-52 was used by American civilian and military populations. About 15 per cent was exported.
