Activities Around Antioch
Br MIm Fronde Kennedy
One of the outstanding events
. of the church year is Young Peo
ple's Day, which was observed
in the Antioch Presbyterian
Church on Sunday. Sharing the
pulpit with the pastor were four
of the young people Bobby
Clark and Misses Carole Ever
leigh, Harriet Hodgin, and Fran
ces McDonald.
Bobby Clark read the scripture
lesson and offered the first pray
er. The girls told in turn of the
activities and anticipated projects
if their group. During the year
just ended they have held Sun
day evening meetings regularly
and have assisted in various
church enterprises. Last June,
with the pastor as leader and
chaperone, they went for a "re
treat" to Montreat. They hope to
repeat this experience this year.
They lived In a cottage loaned
for the occasion, did all their own
cooking, had regular Bible study,
