Hodjyns over the week end. New Year's Party The Antioch Bridge Club en joyed a most delightful New Year's party on 'Friday eveninp of last week at the home of Mrs. J. J. Pence in Wagram. A deli cious supper was served to the fifteen guests attending. Canasta and setback were played and winners of the hi "' score prizes for men and women in canasta were Mr. and Mrs Archie Howard; in setback W T. Everleigh and Mrs. Joanne Ross were winners. Those enjoy ing this annual treat were: Mrs. Sherwood Baldwin, Mr. and Mrs Bill Powell, Misses Sallie and Willie Mae Liles, the Rev. and Mrs. Gower Crosswell, Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Gibson, W. T. Ever leigh, Mrs. Joanne Ross, Miss Fronde Kennedy, Loyd Gillis anc Mr. and Mrs. Archie Howard. The condition of D. N. Their housi was burning when they arriver home from work. Bill was tin only one at home, and while hi had noticed the smoke, he didn't see the fire until his parents arrived. Birthday Party Arthur Crosswell celebrated his tenth birthday on last Saturday ?.t his home. It was an all-day affair for he invited his guests t come for lunch. A most delight ful time was had playing all kinds of games. Those enjoying the "Birthdaj Treat" with Arthur were: Nat Heyward, Freddie Culbreth, Sam Hiser and Hu Chaney from Rae ford, Angus McDonald and Mac and Joe Crosswell. The Women of the Church held their regular monthly meeting on Monday night in the Education: Building with Mrs. Archie How ard, president, presiding. After the business meeting Mrs. H. A. McKenzie, Jr., chairman of Cir cle No. 1, had charge of the pro gram. Miss Sarah McKenie gave a very interesting devotional message. It is unlawful to hunt game birds, snuirrells or rabbits with any automat'c-loading or hand operated repeating capable of holding more than three shells, the magazine of which has not been cut off or plugged with a one-piece metal or wooden filler incapable of removal without dismantling the gun. There canot be more than three shells in the magazine and chamber combined. Is it lawful to hunt game with a shotgun or other firearm equip ped with a silencer? No. It is unlawful for any per son while hunting game in this State to have in his possession any kind of firearm equipped with any type of silencer. to kill, or has in his possession a doe (female) deer may be fined not less than one hundred dol lars, or imprisoned for not less than ninety days, or both fined and imprisoned in the discretion of the court. No. It is unlawful at any time to buy rabbits for the purpose of resale. Is it lawful to set a steel trap for a bear?
