A good source of income for the farmers in the area is beef cattle and dairy stock and these ani mals burn hay. The necessity for hay and silage for these animals makes corn and legume raising especially important. The Junior Devision shall in clude the identical list as the Senior division. The Junior div ision shall be interpreted only as 4-H, FFA, FHA, NFA, NHA, or other organized youth groups as determined by the Chairman of the Youth division at specific re quest of the adult counsellor of the group desiring permission to enter. The product exhibited in the Junior division must be grown, made or prepared as a project by the person who enters it. All products must be entered in the name of the' person who grew, canned or raised the pro duct. Requests patronage Members of the exhibit commit tee ask the public to patronize the advertisers in The News-Jour nal Fair Tabloid, stating that their cooperation is what made the publishing of the paper pos sible. “Those who have worked for the Exhibit committee have not done so with hope of profit in money, but have given of their time and means for the purpose of encouraging the advancement of agricultural enterprises of the purpose of encouraging the ad vancement of agricultural enter prises of the county, the advance ment of homemaking, coopera tive efforts and to promote a county-wide meeting for social pleasure,” Josephine Hall, Hoke Home Demonstration agent, sta tes. She says that exhibitors can help by bringing all of the pro ducts that they can that are well nrenared and of good quality “I hope that people will make constructive suggestions about how the exhibits and fair can be improved for next year,” she states. “We’re asking all persons to enter as many exhibits as they can on Monday morning, and then visit the fair with their families and spend some time with their exhibits answering questions and giving general infortnu^ion to the public. “Every effort will be made to keep visitors from handling the exhibits because we understand that the entrant doesn’t want his handiwork ruined by over-zealous onlookers.” COME TO THE FAIR!
