After the pledge of Allegi ance to Ae Flag and the club motto were repeated , Linda Wright and Gilbert Ray, song leaders, led the singing. The' time for Achievement night was announced and the name for the club will still be Roekfish 4-H Club. Plans for the coming year were dis cussed. LONGSTREET HOMECOMING The Homecoming at Long street Church Sunday was a grand occasion. The cleaning up and all the details for the comfort and convenience of the "Homecomers" had been taken care of by the Ft, Bragg Army personnel and even an arrangement of beautiful flo wers had been placed In the church. There was a worship service at 11:00. A prelude of Instrumental music by Miss Elizabeth Currie of Fayetteville and some good strong singing led by Mr, Johnson of Fayetteville called the people in In the absence of a bell, Scott Currie intro duced the speaker, the Rev, E. S. Currie, retired mis sionary, who preached. Lunch was served outdoor picnic style on the long tables back of the church. Mr, and Mrs. Arthur Watson attended the Hlghsmith Mem orial Hospital Alumnae Ban quet at Plantation House, Fay etteville, Saturday nlghL Mrs, Watson graduated from Hlgh smith School of Nursing Class of 1950.
