Patty Cooper and Betsy Tom Homewood were hostesses for a dance party Friday night at the Cooper home. Decorations carrying out the Mexican theme were used in the living room, dining room and den where the 25 young guests played games and danced. Pizzas, enchiladas, punch, cookies and nuts were served. Welfare Dept. Honors McNeill Lew F. McNeill, who was Inducted into the UA Army on March 27th, was honored by the staff of the Hoke Coun ty Department of Public Wel fare last week with a luncheon held at a local restaurant. The table, where places were laid for eight, was centered with a red, white and blue arrange ment of ribbons and flags. McNeill, who has been em-, ployed as a social worker with the welfare department for eighteen months, was presented an engraved cigarette lighter by his co-workers.
