BRIDGE Mrs. Wilburn Club members and two visitors, Mrs. David S. Cut lie Jr. and Mrs. l-.d Manning, met with Mrs. Cairoll Wilbuin on Thuisday night. Bridal Shower Fetes Miss Watson Mrs. Bobby Cox and Mrs. Maggie Cox entertained for Miss Barbaia Watson. October bride ? elect, with a miscellaneous shower Monday night at the home of Mrs. Bobby Cox. Bridal games were played after which the lionorce opened her gifts. The refreshment table, covered with green linen and centered with fall flowers, held assorted cakes, punch, nuts and mints. Parties Honor Hou seguest Mrs. Arthur D. Gore entertained with a coffee hour last Tuesday morning in honor of her houseguest, Mrs. L L. I ledge petit of Chapel Hill. 1 ightccn guests attended the morning affair. Wednesday afternoon Mrs. Gore was hostess for her bridge with Mrs. Hedgepeth and Mrs. John Nicholson as visitors. When members arrived Mrs. Gore served dessert and coffee. During play mixed nuts and Iruil drinks were served. Mrs. J.C. McLean won the high score pn/e for members and Mrs. Nicholson received the visitor's prize. Antique Show I Ire Garden Club Council ol layetleville has announced plans for the second annual antique show to be held October 2 and 3 at the National Guard Armory on Highway 301 So.. Fayetteville. The show will open from I I a.m. to 10 p.m. on Fridas. Octobei 2, and front 1 I a.m. to (> p.m.on Satinday. October 3. Antiques of all ly|ics including old coins, furniture. Iant|)s. clocks, china, etc.. also oriental lugs, pillows and otlrei new miscellaneous items will be for sale.
