ENGAGEMENT ANNOUNCED
Mr. and Mrs. Paul Dickson oj Raeford, announce the engagement
of their daughter, Margaret Anne, to Louis Henry Fogleman Jr.
of Greensboro, son of Mrs. hiuis Henry Fogleman of Wadesboro
and the late Mr. Fogleman. A Febntary w edding is planned.
Miss Dickson attended the University of North Carolina at
Creensboro. She made hir debut a! the 1965 Terpsichorean Ball
in Raleigh, and is a member of the Charlotte Spinsters Club. In
Charlotte, she has been employed by It' Thomas Ray, attorney.
Mr. Fogleman was graduated from Davidson College and the
University of North Carolina Law School, and is a member of the
Sigma Phi Ipsilon social fraternity and Phi Delta Phi legal
fraternity. He is a vice ? president and regional trust officer for
First Union National Bank of Creensboro.

Woman's Club
Met Tuesday
The Raeford Woman's Club
met on Tuesday evening.
January 5. at the Hoke Civic
Center.
Reports were given by
officers, committee chairman
and department chairman. It
was reported that the 1971
Fine Arts Festival will be
February 20. All club members
are encouraged to participate
in this project. The exhibit will
be open to the public. Details
will be printed in this paper in
the near future. Local students
will enter their art works and
creative writing and musical
presentations.
After the business session,
Mrs. Dick Neely introduced
Alfred Leach, who spoke to
the group about the
controversial topic "Air
Pollution".
The meeting was adjourned
and members of the Education
Department invited members
and guests to remain for
refreshments. A "Happy New
Year's" theme was used in
decorations and refreshments.
