Kittrell College, a 84 - year -
old junior college, has an
enrollment of SOI students. U
uses the systems approach to

student to work at his or her
own speed until the specified
amount of material has been
learned for completion of the
course.
Miss Thompson is the
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mark
Thompson of Rt. 1, Raeford.
In addition, she is a member of
the Freedom AME Zion
Church.
Alton Wilton Wood III, son
of Mr. and Mrs. A.W. Wood, Jr.
of 835 Prospect St., Raeford,
has qualified for the spring
semester dean's list at Wake
Forest University.
Wood is a freshman and
plans to major in business
administration.
Vickie Rose was named to

semester at Pembroke State

decorated with magnolia

Monday at a 10:30 coffee at
the home of Mrs. Arthur D.
Gore on Magnolia Street.
Hostesses serving with Mrs.
Gore were Mrs. W.S. Hood, and
Mrs. Charles Hosteller.
Upon arriving. Miss
McFadyen was presented a
corsage of white roses. Her
mother and Mrs. Ralph
PI u miner, mother of the
prospective bridegroom, were
given corsages of red roses.
Mrs. Gore greeted the guests
at the door, Mrs. Hood
received in the living room, and
Mrs. Charles Hosteller directed
the guests to the dining room.
The dining room table,
arranged for coffee, was
covered with a lace and linen
cloth and centered with a mass
arrangement of summer
flowers. Roses were used in the
living room, mixed flowers in
the hall, and magnolia fronds
in the sunparlor.
Chicken puffs, cucumber
sandwiches, canapes, cheese
biscuits, assorted sweets and
iced coffee were served.
Out of town guests were
