Club Meets
Rockfish Extension Homemakers
Club did meet last week but it was just
for a short time at the community
house at eleven o'clock last Wednesday
a.m. For they were "taking off" to
Ballentines Cafeteria in Fayetteville to
have dinner there instead of the annual
August picnic here. So off they went in
good spirits everyone, taking only
enough cares for 13 club members who
went. And soon they were >t
Ballenline's Cafeteria, where they had a
table long enough for all to sit together.
The food was very good. No ore
monopolized the conversation but all
chatted in a happy mood. As they
enjoyed the food. When the lunch or
luncheon as some people would ay
although it really was a dinner, w>?nr
some of the ladies went Stopping while
others tat and watched the passers-by
until the time to com* home. And so
ended the clubs summer vacation, "on a
happy note."

MYSTERY EGG - Egg found in flower bed in fenced yard in Raeford poses
