Survivors include his widow Mildred Baxley Guin; one daughter, Mrs. Kenneth Ivey; one son, Richard Guin of Southern Pines; two sisters, Mrs. Tom Stephens of High Point and Mrs. J.C. Mrs. Lula Cooper of Fayetteville. Mrs. Sadie Holiday of Raeford; three brothers James. Jones of Fayetteville, Stacy Jones. Baltimore. Md.. Alton Jones of Red Springs; and ten grandchildren. Mrs. Lemmie K. Crepps Services for Mrs. Lemmie K. Crepps. 90, Rockingham, who died Tuesday, were 2 p jn. Wednesday at the Chapel of Marks Funeral Home, Rockingham. with the Rev. Senior Citizens To Participate Moke County Senior Citizens will participate in the Summer Arts and Crafts Fair and Sale at the National Guard Armory. Southern Pines June 15. Crafts and articles for display may be placed in the armory in the afternoon of June 14 and between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. the day of the sale. A five percent commission will be charged on sales to cover expenses of the fair. Information concerning the event may be obtained from Miss Josephine Hall. Hoke County Senior Citizen's coordinatoi. Recent Senior Citizens activities included attending a Sandhills Community College sponsored covered dish dinner honoring older adults May 28. About 140 people from Moore and Hoke countics attended. The Rev. Joseph Johnson of Trinity AMK Zion Church, Southern Pines, gave the invocation and the welcome was given by SC'C Dean of Continuing Education Harlan McCaskill. Crash Kills Robesonian At 1 a.m. Sunday Antioch DufTie Road seven miles south of Raeford was site of one of 20 North Carolina weekend traffic death. The fatality brought Hoke County's 1974 road death count to eight as compared with six during the same period in 1973. Norman Lee Furmage Jr., 25, of Pembroke was pronounced dead at the scene after the vehicle he was driving spun around and bounced 31 feet after hitting a tree, says investigating officer Patrolman Ken Weston. Furmage was thrown from the vehicle. "Damage and skid marks indicate the car was traveling at a high rate of speed," says the state trooper. The vehicle apparently ran off the road onto a shoulder, skidded 306 feet, right rear of car struck a bridge, vehicle swerved skidding 144 feet and driver's area struck the tree, reports the patrolman. The impact almost severed the passenger area of the 1973 Chevrolet Monte Carlo and the car was a total loss estimated at S3,800, reports Weston. The body was taken to Crumpler's Funeral Home by the Hoke County Rescue squad Dr. Riley M. Jordan, county medical examiner said the victim was dead.
