Williams - Hustrulid Wed Saturday Miss Jane Ann Hustrulid of Charlotte became the bride of Tommy Lee Williams of Raeford Saturday afternoon in High Point. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence A. Hustrulid of High Point. Mr. Williams is the son of Mrs. O.G. Williams of Raeford. The Rev. Kay Misenheimer officiated the double ring ceremony at the First Presbyterian Church in High Point. Mrs. Roger G. Miller and Mrs. Mark A. Craven provided nuptial music. The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a silk organza formal gown adorned with Venice lace trim and a scooped neckline. Her chapel length veil, edged with Venice lace, was attached to a small lace cap. 9ie carried a cascade bouquet of white and yellow daisies and roses. Mrs. Gary Scott of Statesville served as matron of honor, Miss Myra Lyerly of Charlotte was maid of honor. They wore white and green print voile gowns with raised fitted bodice. Bridesmaids, who wore similar gowns included Miss Margaret Lane of Raeford, Mrs. Clarence A. Hustrulid Jr. of High Point, Mrs. J P. Haynes of Greensboro, and Mrs. John Taylor of Rutherfordton. Dan Wilkes of Fayetteville served as best man. Ushers were Jerry WDliams and Jimmy Sams of Raeford, Ben Stanley of Fayetteville and Clarence A. Hustrulid Jr. of High Point. The brides parents entertained with a reception following the ceremony at Willow Creek Country Club. After a wedding trip to Florida, the couple will reside in Charlotte. The bride attended High Point Central High School and Mitchell College in Statesville. The bridegroom is a graduate of Hoke County High School. Bridesmaids' Luncheon Miss Hustrulid and her attendants were honored Friday afternoon at the Emerywood Country Club in High Point. Hostesses were Mrs. L.W. Stevens, Mrs. L.F. Stevens, Mrs. R.W. Stevens, and Mrs. K J. Stevens. Special guests were Mrs. C A. Hustrulid and Mrs. O.G. Williams, mothers of the couple. Rehearsal Dinner Miss Hustrulid and Mr. Williams were honored Friday evening in High Point by Mr. and Mrs. Robert Craven, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Wagner and Mr. and Mrs. Pat Haynes. Special guests were the parents of the couple. Gifts were presented to the attendants during the evening. Marriage Announced Mrs William T. Cox Mr. and Mrs. Young McDonald Wood of Raeford, announce the marriage of their daughter Rebecca Ann to William T. Cox, son of Mrs. Boyd Cox of Raeford and the late Mr. Cox. The ceremony was held in Dillon, S.C. Friday, May 2. The couple is making their home on Route 4, Raeford. Mrs. Cox is employed with the City of Raeford and Mr. Cox is employed by the J.H. Wright Construction Company. Mr. and Mrs. Daniel DeVane entertained Mr. and Mrs. Cox Sunday evening with a cake cutting. Approximately thirty guests called during the evening. Refreshments of cake, nuts, and punch were served.' The couple received an electric can opener from Mr. and Mrs. DeVane. Warwick - Harms Mr. and Mrs. Joe Harms of Muskogee, Oklahoma announce the marriage of their daughter, Kathy, to A1 Warwich, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hord of Raeford. The April 18 ceremony was held in tMe Wedding Chapel, Tulsa, Oklahoma. The couple will make their home In Haleitfi. Mrs. Tommy Lee Williams Ussery - McDonald Couple'Feted Mr. and Mrs. RJ3. Lewis, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Gatlin and Mrs. R.A. Matheson had a picnic at the Gatlin pond on Friday evening honoring Harriet S. Ussery and Neill McDonald. Twenty-four guests were served at tables outside. The couple received gifts of silver and crystal. On Saturday evening, Mr. and Mrs. Allen McDonald and Mr. and Mrs. William McDonald entertained with a cookout at the William McDonald home on Bethel Road. The hosts gifts to the couple were linens. Couple Honored At Dinner Party Miss Margaret Holland and Julian Johnson who will be married June 28 were honored with a dinner party last Friday evening. Hostesses for the occasion were Mrs. Clyde Upchurch and Mrs. W.T. Gibson. Arrangements of spring flowers were used throughout the Gibson home. An arrangement of miniature roses graced the dining table. A corsage of roses was given to Miss Holland. Gifts of china and steak knives were presented to the couple. Miss Stocks Honored Miss Elizabeth Stocks was honored last Saturday afternoon with a Coke party by Mrs. Charles Davis and Mrs. Malcolm McNeill. Guests enjoyed refreshments served from a lace covered table centered with an arrangment of spring flowers. The hostesses presented Miss Stocks with gifts of silver. Miss Stocks will become the bride of Ken Davis May 24 in Tarboro.
