Sets Fall Tuition Rates
Howard E. Boudreau, president of
Fayetteville Technical Institute,
announced that the tuition rates for
the 1975-76 academic year will be as
follows:
Students classified as residents of
North Carolina will pay S2.75 per
quarter hour up to 11 hours of credit
or $33.00 per quarter. Through
action taken by the 1975 General
Assembly in its session recently
concluded, FTI no longer has the
authority to waive any portion of the
out-of-state residents tuition rate.
Prior to this ruling, the board of
trustees had this authority to waive
out-of-state tuition because of
federal funds used in the
construction of some of the
buildings. Out-of-state tuition fees
will be S 13.50 per quarter hour up to
II hours of credit or SI62.50 per
quarter.
To qualify for in-state tuition, a
leeal resident must have maintained
his domicile in North Carolina for at
least the 12 months
