Letter To The Editor
Editor's Note. The following letter
was received too late for inclusion on
the editorial page. It is published
here because of its interest to the
community.
To The Editor:
I am writing to express concern
over the possible loss of trees on the
Hoke County Library site. It appears
that twelve trees are either within the
marked boundary of the building or
very near to the string now up. Is it
true that the flat-roof design may
necessitate cutting all of the trees?
I have no authority for
questioning the selection of the site
or the design, but the organization
which I lead has much concern for

Raeford's natural assets.
