COMMENT Returning good for evil seems some times hard to do, but it brings more peace and joy and may win a friend for you. Letter To The Editor Editor's Note: The following letter was received too late to be included under the editorial page's letter to the editor. It is printed here for the consideration of the readers. The people of Hoke County have always responded in time of need. Since I have been living in Hoke County, I have witnessed on many occasions that when the call went out, it did not return void. Compassion was shown, and the concern of Hoke Countians for one another was seen through their response. As you know, in this day of time medical expenses, without proper coverage, are impossible for a family with limited income to kfep up with. Especially, when an inditidual has to travel from the AntiochCommunity to Chapel Hill and* back for treatment on a kidney machine, two - three times a week. It is because of the above situation that we are sending out an appeal for the people of Hoke County to assist in this matter. All contributions for this cause should be sent to: Mt. Elim Baptist Church, for Mrs. Virginia Jones, c/o Willett R. Bissett, 602 S. Main St., Raeford. Thanking everyone in advance for your anticipated help in this endeavor. Sincerely yours, Willett R.
