Mr. and Mrs. George Phillips of
Sanford, came last Wednesday and
took her grandmother, Mrs. Lena
Terrell, back with them for a
Christinas Eve dinner with four
generations of her family; the Phillips
children completed the four
generations. Mrs. Leo Parker, and
family, brought her mother back to
Raeford and stayed overnight and
Christmas Day with her.

Mrs. Bobby Anthony Little
Miss Sheila Rene Gibson,
daughter of LTC and Mrs. Henry
Lee Gibson, of Hampton, Virginia,
became the bride of Lt. Bobby
Anthony Little, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Ernest William Little of
Raefor'd, on December 27, at St.
Paul's Lutheran Church, in Hamp
ton.
The Rev. Robert B. Lineberger
performed the double ring cere
mony. Peter Lineberger served as
acolvte.
Miss Melodee Savage of Rich
mond, Va., was the soloist.
The bride was escorted by her
father and given in marriage by her
parents.
The bride's attendants were her
sisters, Miss Colleen Gibson and
Miss Maureen Gibson, of Hamp
ton, Va.
William Campbell of McCain,
was best man. Groomsmen were
James Little of Raeford, brother of
the groom; and Keith Gibson of
Hampton, Va., brother of the
bride.
A reception was held at Fort
Monroe Officer's Club in Virginia.
After a wedding trip, the couple
will reside at Fort Richardson,
Alaska. ?
O'Briants Entertain With Open House
Dr. and Mrs. A.L. O'Briant and
their son Lec entertained with a
holiday open house Sunday at their
home on N. Main Street.
The entrance hall was decorated
with a mass arrangement of pink
roses and carnations, blue dutch iris
and gypsophila. Large ferns and
other foliage plants were used in
profuson throughout the home.

Open House
Mr. and Mrs. John Henry McNeill
were hosts at an open house on
Saturday evening. Guests induded
their out-of-town brothers and
sisters, relatives and friends of the
family.
The home was decorated for the
holiday season, and Christmas
goodies were served from a table
made festive for the occaaon.

Dinner Held
The North Raeford Extension
Homemakers Club held its annual
Christmas dinner, December 19, at
7:30 P.M., at Kelly's Cafeteria in
Fayetteville.
The invocation was given by the
club president, Mrs. Kathryn Mc
Phatter. Following the dinner the
group exchanged gifts. The presi
dent was presented a gift from the
club members. Two readings ex
plaining Christmas symbols were
read by Mrs. Grace Pierce and
Pinkston Simmons.
