Girls Lose In Overtime By Pal Scott Upchurch girls lost their first game Friday in overtime to Wicker, 49-45. Costly errors sent three of the starters to the bench in foul trouble early in the third quarter. The leading scorer was Sharon McMillan with 24, followed by Brenda Graham with eight. Wicker never lost their cool and came back after trailing by eight ooints to win the overtime. I^ariino scorer was C. Huffstetler with 3U, followed by S. Womble with eight. In last Monday's game, the Upchurch girls defeated Jonesboro 40-26 after trailing 24-26 at the end of the third quarter. The girls held Jonesboro score less in the last quarter and hit 16 points to win by 14. S. McMillan was the leading scorer for the Eagles with 20, followed by C. Mclntrye with eight. V.
