The Rev. Kelly Wilson and Rev. William Guinn officiated the double ring ceremony. Organist was Miss Janes Barnes and Lester Southern, soloist. The bride is the daughter of Mrs. William Haywood Faulk and the late Mr. Faulk.The bridegroom is the son of Mr. Charles Maroney, Sr. of Fayettevillc. Grandparents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. Rudyard Kipling Nash of Raeford. Miss Faulk was given in marriage by her uncle,Malcolm B.Culbreth of Sclina. She wore a floor length gown ?af crystal satin peau trimmed in Alecon lace and a floor length train attached to a J uliet cap. She carried a cascade of pink sweetheart roses, 'white carnations and babies breath. Mrs. Karen Rosa of Colonial Heights, Va. sister of the bride, was matron of honor. She wore a floral knit gown with matching hat and carried a bouquet of pink and white carnations and babies breath. Bridesmaids were June Marie Culbreth, cousin of the bride of Selma, Miss Becky Sue Pope of Raeford and Miss Becky Greene of Rockingham. Miss Terri Schaubcr of Fayettcville, cousin of the bride was Junior bridesmaid. All attendants wore dresses and hats similar to the matron of honor. Miss Melissa Brock was the flower girl. She wore a pink knit gown and hat to malch and carried a basket of rose petals. Directing the wedding was Mrs. Jack Pope of Raeford. The bridegroom's grandfather. Rudyard Kipling Nash, was best man. Rehearsal Dinner On Friday night after the Mrs. Charles Ralph Maroney, Jr. rehearsal, a steak dinner was given in Fayotteville at the "Barn" honoring the wedding party, parents and close friends. Couple Honored Mr. and Mrs. Walter Caddell of Raeford were honored with "Open House" on their forty ? ninth wedding anniversary at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Homer Terry at Rockfish on Sunday Feb. 29, 1976. The Rev. Jack Mansfield officiated the double ring ceremony. Parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Robert P. Baker. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Stone are parents of the bridegroom. Presenting the wedding music were Candice Autry, organist and Don Brock, Soloist, who sang "The Twelfth of Never" and 'The Wedding Prayer." The church was decorated with colonial columns topped with urns filled with floral arrangements. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a formal gown of dacron polyester organza, accented with an empire waist and trimmed with satin ribbons, the neckline, having the yoke effect, was appliqued with French imported lace and pearls with crystal pleating. The full organza skirt, the dieer puff sleeves and the train were edged with Chantilly lace and crystal pleating. As a headpiece, the bride wore a laced half - cap with waist length veil, edged with matching lace. The bride's bouquet was blue and white daisies, carnations, stephanotis, eucalyptis and babies breath. Mrs. Glenda Wagner, sister of the bridegroom, served as matron of honor, and Miss Karen Brookshire.of Fayetteville was maid of honor. They wore formal gowns of blue print accented with a V neckline, capelet sleeves and an empire waistline. The white picture hats worn by the attendants were accented with blue streamers. They each carried a white basket of blue daisies and white babies breath. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Ginger Scott, Miss Debbie Baker and Miss Gale Baker, all sisters of the bride; Miss Charlene Averitt, Miss Sheryl Dees, and Miss Theresa Phillips. They wore gowns like those of the honor attendants. Each carried a basket of blue and white daisies with babies breath. Honorary bridesmaids were Miss Debi Altman and Miss Geraline Smith, both of Raeford. Wearing formal gowns of yellow polyester, each carried a long stem carnation accented with streamers. Miss Rene Harris, cousin of the bride, served as flower girl. Dressed identical to the other attendants,she wore a blue floral headpiece. Robie Currie, cousin of the bride, served as ring bearer. Robert Wagner, brother ? in ? law of the groom served as best man. Ushers were Robbie Baker, brother of the bride, Jerry Johnson. Ricky Clark, Donald Johnson, Ronald Johnson and Charles Crowder, all of Raeford and Stan Winberry, of Garner. The mother of the bride wore a formal gown of blue polyester. She wore matching accessories accented with a white orchid corsage. The mother of the groom was attired in a beige formal gown accented with a matching jacket. Mrs. Caddell was presented a yellow corsage with a miniature bride and groom. The inscribed bells from the Register and the trees were given to the Caddeli's. Mrs. Caddell was Lizzie Liles from Laurinburg; Mr. Caddell was from Maxton. Out of town guests were from Raeford, Red Springs and Lumber Bridge. Engaged Mr. and Mrs. WD. Gilead later this month, was honoree at a party given by Mrs. David Sease and Mrs. Earl Smith at the Sease home on Old Farm Road, Monday evening. Music was presented by Miss Tara Barnes throughout the reception. For travel, the bride wore a blue pant suit with matching accessories and a corsage of carnations and daisies lifted from her bridal bouquet. Following a wedding trip to Williamsburg the couple will reside on Route 2. The bride is a sophomore at Pembroke State University majoring in sociology and economics. She is a member of Kappa Delta Sorority. The bridegroom attended Pembroke State University and is employed by Knit-Away. Bridesmaid Luncheon On Saturday, March 6. the bride was honored with a luncheon given by Mrs. Robert Wagner at the home of Mrs. J.W. Walkei. on Magnolia Street. Places were set for sixteen guests. Those attending were mothers of the bride and groom, members of the wedding party, and Mrs. M.K Sessoms, Jr.. director of the wedding. At this time the bride presented her attendants with gold necklaces which were worn in the wedding.
