Braaa Miss Mary Wallis McLean of Fayetteville, daughter of Mrs. Wal lace McLean and the late Mr. McLean of Raeford, and Lieu tenant Thomas Russell Bolin, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ted Bolin of Spokane, Wash., spoke their mar riage vows Saturday at 4:00 p.m., in the J.F. Kennedy Memorial Chapel at Ft. Bragg. Father Kita officiated for the double ring ceremony. Wedding music was furnished by ?Mrs. Sue Mattieu, organist, and Mrs. John Self, soloist, who sang, Entreat Me Not To Leave Thee, Because, and the Lord's Prayer. ? The bride was given in marriage by Jack Crumpler, her brother - in - law, and attended by her sister, Mrs. Crumpler, as matron of honor, and by Miss Shelley Bolin as maid of honor. Lieutenant Michael Mische was best man. Sabrebearers were Msg. Joel Schenkleberger, Sgt. Henry Kohn, Sgt. Gut Whitmer, Sgt. Robert Keaton, Sgt. Richard Munoz, Sgt. Archard Uttley, Sgt. Michael Kendall, and Sp. 4 Rickey Barrientos. Children in the wedding were Miss Donna Marie Bramble, flower girl, and Master Josh Crumpler, ring bearer. The mother of the bride wore a pale blue dress and the bride groom's mother was attired in mint green. After the ceremony, a reception was held at the Ft. Bragg Officers' Club. Mrs. Joel Schenkleberger served cake and Mrs. Wes Fowler poured punch. Mrs. J.K. Bramble pre sided at the register. Following a wedding trip the newlyweds will be at home at Gardens of Loch Lomond, Fay etteville. The bride, a graduate of Hoke County High School, received a B.S. degree from Pembroke State Universty. The bridegroom grad uated from Washington State Uni versity. * Christening Steven Franklin Calloway, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Shelby Calloway, was christened Sunday at Community United Methodist Church. The Rev. Lester Bissette performed the ceremony and pre sented the baby a New Testament. Mr. and Mrs. Waylon Fulk of Fayetteville, were named God parents and were presented a "brag book". The 85 relatives and close friends attending were invited to a lunch eon at the Calloway home after the ceremony. Out of town guests were Mr. and Mrs. Waylon Fulk and family and Mrs. Jean Baker and family, all of Fayetteville. Mrs. Thomas Russell Bolin Handbell Choir At Music Club The Chaminade Music Club met April 13 at 7:45 p.m. at the Raeford United Methodist Church. Program leader Mrs. L.S. Brock Jr.. introduced the Methodist Births Born to Mr. and Mrs. Robert Neil Baker a daughter. Jennifer Neil, on April 22. at Moore Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Baker is the former Janet Adcox. Mr. and Mrs. Steve Phillips an nounce the birth of a daughter. Stephanie Suzanne, on April 26, at Cape Fear Valley Hospital. Mrs. Phillips is the former Susan Howard. Mr. and Mrs. Larry Deal of Raleigh, announce the birth of a daughter, Kami Rence, on April 20 at Rex Hospital. Mrs. Deal is the former Jean Mercer of Raeford. Mr. and Mrs. Michael Lee Harrell announce the birth of a son, Michael Lee II, on April 22. at Scotland Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Harrell is the former Joanne Herring. Dr. and Mrs. Julius Jordan were weekend guests of Dr. and Mrs. Milton Jordan of Fairmont, at their Holden Beach cottage. Church Handbell Choir members and their director Mrs. Lewis Upchurch Jr. as guest artists for the evening. Selections given by the group included "Bell Joyous", "America the Beautiful", "Were You There When They Crucified My Lord", "Parade of the Wooden Soldier", and "Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring". Mrs. Brock gave a brief history of the Hymn of the Month, "Deep River", which the club sang ac companied by Mrs. Steve Hedg peth. After a refreshment hour with the handbell choir, the club busi ness meeting was held. The meeting concluded with the club singing two bicentennial selec tions, "The Old North State" and "America the Beautiful", accom panied by Mrs. Hugh Lowe.
