Yellow and white summer flowers and yellow candles centered the refreshment table where punch, decorated cakes, nuts and mints were served. Anniversary Mr. and Mrs. M. Lonnie Thomas of Rockingham were honored for their golden wedding anniversary on June 20 with a party given by their children, Mrs. Bernice Threatt, Earl Thomas, Bobby Thomas and George Thomas of Rockingham. Acting as hostesses for the occasion were their granddaughters, Linda Star ling and Ann Thomas of Rocking ham, Janice Barefoot and Jean Newton of Raeford, and Sharon Stone of Roanoke, Va. Mrs. George Johnston of Winches ter, Va., arrived Monday for a visit with her parents. Mr. and Mrs. W.B. McDiarmid. Max and Mike Walker of Sanford spent the weekend with their grandparents. A blue and white color note was used in decorations, and Miss Walters received a corsage of blue and white daisies. The refreshment table, spread with white lace over blue, was centered with an arrange ment of blue and white daisies and gypsophila.
