The number one book on the best seller list is "ROOTS", it has been made into a series of TV programs which will soon be on the TV. "ROOTS" is a saga of an American family written by Alex Haley. Haley begins his book in Gambi. West Africa, in 1750 with the birth of one of his ancestors. He traces the history of his family as they come over to America on the slave ship until the present genera tion.
