The loss of the heater was the latest in a series of break-ins and thefts which has plagued the country church located on a desert ed stretch of road. No sooner than we get back from winter vacation and we find ourselves up to our necks in books and scribbled, ineligible notes (that we can't even remember doing!) trying desperately to study for our mid-term exams. Trying to cram in our usual homework and assignments while studying for exams along with our 'extra - curricular' activities (that we couldn't do without!) is usually an impossible task, but everyone always manages to get it done somehow every year. Exams are being done a little differently this year with them counting one fourth of the semester grade in a subject and lasting three hours, two exams a day, instead of spreading out six exams over three days as has been done the last few years. All this means is that everyone's still going to need a lot of luck (including me!), so 'Good Luck' everybody! The entire student body was finally together in the new gymtorium for the first time this past Friday at a pep rally for the basketball teams. It is the first time the entire student body has been assembled without having some in chairs or on the floor. It is a great gym and stage and everyone should feel fortunate and proud in having it. In the late fall, the members of the club went to Fayetteville to see a French comedy, "The Mad Adventures of Rabbi Jacobs", and then to the RSVP. a French restaurant in Fayetteville, for lunch. For the Christmas holidays, the members prepared a complete French meal at the home of their advisor. Mrs. Davis.
