Charles Chandler hit a field goal and Alex Campbell hit three free throws to seal the victory. Chandler had 30 points to pace the All Stars offensive attack. For H-C, Bobby Leslie picked up 17 points. H-C fell to 8 - 1 in the league while the All Stars are now 6 - 2. In the second game Gentry's Tire erased an early deficit to post an 86 - 66 victory over Hollingsworth - Doby. The win helped Gentry's to remain in second place, one halt game ahead of the All Stars. Rodney Johnson, who led Gentry's with 39 points, hit a 64 foot hook shot with one second left in the first half and a 40 foot jump shot as time ran out in the game. The Weavers are now nine and a half games ahead in the number one spot.
